POLL: Make It Easier to Pass New Taxes?
Milpitas leaders will decide on it tonight.
Milpitas City Council will decide tonight whether to declare a fiscal emergency, thus requiring only a majority approval — instead of the regular two-thirds — from voters to pass a new tax in the June election.
Is this the right thing to do? Or should the two-thirds threshold remain?
