POLL: Should the City of Milpitas Allow Medicinal Marijuana Dispensaries?

Arguments for the ordinance include the potential increase in revenues from taxes on the dispensaries' profits, and issues of compassion for those who suffer from conditions like cancer and say that the use of marijuana lessens their pain.

However, several issues still remain unresolved, including a potential increase in crime, and that criminalize marijuana and currently have no exemptions or exceptions for medicinal use.
