Garden Plants from Riparian Woodlands

The Milpitas Public Library and the Silicon Valley chapter of the California Native Plant Society invite you to a talk by Deanna Giuliano. The Riparian plant community is home to a variety of California natives suitable for moist places in the greater Bay Area. If you have a wet location in your garden or live near a stream, creek or river, you will be especially interested in the wide range of trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials which provide habitat for localΒ  birds, insects and other wildlife. Ms. Giuliano has been a native plant nursery specialist for eight years and has managed the Acterra Restoration Nursery in Palo Alto for the past five years.
