The Hindu American Foundation is a nonprofit which sponsors a quarterly speakers series in the Bay Area. On Saturday, author Phillip Goldberg will speak about his new book What Hinduism has Given America: Hinduism's Gifts to the West.
The event is free and open to all.
Philip Goldberg is the author or coauthor of twenty books, including Roadsigns: On the Spiritual Path and The Intuitive Edge. Based in LA, he is an ordained interfaith minister, a public speaker and seminar leader, and the founder of Spiritual Wellness and Healing Associates. He is director of outreach for SpiritualCitizens.net and blogs regularly on religion for the Huffington Post.

American Veda describes the remarkable impact of Vedic tradition on Western culture. It was named one of the top ten religion books of 2010. American Veda will be available for purchase with a book signing by Mr. Goldberg after the program.
