Milpitas High's Alexa Cacao Wins CCS Diving Title
The freshman is the first to win the title for Milpitas High School.
Milpitas High freshman Alexa Cacao won the CCS title for diving over the weekend at the George Haines International Swim Center in Santa Clara.
Cacao had a final score of 486.10. There was a total of 43 divers in this meet. Alexa was first (213.15) after the 5-dive preliminary round by less than a point. She was still in first place (338.85) after the semi-finals cuts. Alexa widened her lead during the final three dives to beat her nearest opponent by over 33 points.
