Photos: Back to School Night at Milpitas High

On Wednesday night, parents became students, sitting in the same classrooms and attending classes with the teachers.

On Wednesday's back-to-school night, parents occupied the classrooms and hallways of Milpitas High. With timed bells and their student's schedule in hand, moms and dads traversed across campus looking for the right classrooms. The Milpitas High Junior Navy ROTC members were out in uniform giving directions.

Parents were encouraged to attend all their child's classes in a condensed schedule, which packed six periods in under two hours. Those who came early were able to get a hot dog or cheese pizza dinner provided by the Milpitas High Parent Teacher Student Association and attend an introduction with Principal Ken Schlaff in the large gym.
