Places to Get the Tdap Booster Shot
Got an incoming student in the seventh through 12th grades? A new state law requires students to show proof of the whooping cough booster shot before entering school next fall.
You don't have to make an appointment to get the pertussis vaccine booster, called the Tdap, for your child. Here are some pharmacies and clinics that offer walk-ins.

If cost is a factor in getting the TDAP booster for your child, there are two clinics which ask for a $15 donation.

Regular hours for vaccinations: Walk-ins on Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Cost: $15 suggested donation, or free
Note: This clinic is for patients without insurance. They will not ask for proof of household income, but do ask if the children are eligible for Medi-Cal.
