School Board Election Draws Few Candidates

Just four people are running for three seats including all three incumbents.

The Milpitas Unified School District Governing Board has five elected members. Three seats on the board are up for election this November setting the stage for major change. However, two members are running for re-election unopposed. The remaining member has one challenger.

Running unopposed are board members Gunawan Alisantosa and Daniel Bobay.

Incumbent Danny Lau will face a challenge by Vancer Vuong.

The general election ballot was finalized Monday.

Milpitas Patch will have in-depth candidate profiles as the November election approaches.
