On Sunday, the California Department of Fish and Game hosts this free clinic for kids ages 5-15.
They supply the rods (kids are required to use these) and teach the basics. Then you're welcome to stay and fish with them until 11:30 a.m.
Clinics begin every ten minutes and the maximum number of participants is 150. Registration closes at 9:30 a.m.
