Milpitas Football Game at Saratoga

The Milpitas High football team is red-hot heading into this week's contest at Saratoga High. 

Milpitas (6-1, 3-1) held off first place Los Gatos High 35-30 Friday night to move into the top spot in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division standings. 

Three teams are now 3-1 in league play, showcasing the loaded landscape any title-aspiring team has to navigate through.

Palo Alto, who Milpitas plays on Nov. 10, and Mountain View High are also both 3-1 in league. 

Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Saratoga.
