The Great Mall's annual event, 'Role Models,' will take place on Oct. 27 and feature cocktails, dinner and a fashion show, all hosted by Miss California 2011 Noelle Freeman. Four local women will also be honored for their charity work.

The will get a visit from fashion royalty next Thursday night as Miss California 2011, Noelle Freeman, stops by to host the mall's annual charitable fashion event, "Role Models," on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.

In addition to cocktails, dinner and a live fashion show, four local women will receive a special tribute for their work benefiting local charities during the night's festivities.

The community-minded event will honor the charitable work of Julie Cherry with the Milpitas Alliance for the Arts, Milpitas City Councilmembers Debbie Giordano and Althea Polanski’s work with the Milpitas Historical Society, and Hilda Pintor’s contributions to Grail Family Services, a signature project of the Junior League of San Jose
