Milpitas Lions Club Celebrates 9th Anniversary with Holiday Luncheon, Fashion Show

The event will not only celebrate their anniversary and the holiday season, but proceeds will benefit many local charitable organizations and projects.

The Milpitas Executive Lions Club has two reasons to celebrate this month - the holiday season, of course, and their ninth anniversary.

The Executive Lions work to benefit the Milpitas community each year by supporting a number of local causes, including collecting eyeglasses for the underprivileged, helping the Milpitas Senior Homes, collecting backpacks for the children of underprivileged families, supporting local student speaker and exchange programs, volunteering at and taking collections for the , planting trees throughout the city, and much more.

This Saturday, Dec. 10, the club will hold its ninth anniversary and holiday celebration at in the at 1820 Barber Lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature a buffet lunch and a children's fashion show. The theme of the celebration is "It's a Small World."

Proceeds from the event will go toward continued support for all of the club's annual service projects throughout the Milpitas community.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children between 5 and 12 years of age, and free for children 4 and under. The ticket price includes the luncheon and fashion show.
