Environmental Education Center

Flag as Inappropriate

Part of the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge, the center in Alviso is a place where adults and kids can learn about nature. Inside, you'll find two classrooms, an auditorium and an observation tower. There are regular activities and events, most free, listed in the Tideline newsletter.

Even when the center is closed, the trails in area are open and there is plenty to explore outside. Particularly the salt ponds, marsh and slough.
