The county expects to serve about 70,000 patients from the surrounding areas each year. The three-story building, across from the Milpitas library, has 49 exam rooms, three treatment rooms and a parking structure with 275 spaces.  The site also includes a pharmacy and lab. WIC offices can also be found here.  There is no emergency room.

The Reading Program is an adult education program dedicated to providing written language comprehension to EnglishMore speakers in the Santa Clara County Library service area. In addition to reading, it also teaches basic math, writing and computer skills; classes are two hours each week, and are available at no cost to the student. Students must be at least 16 years old and no longer attending school, with a reading/writing level below that of a 9th grade student.
Fresh Lifelines for Youth

Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) addresses juvenile crime and incarceration in San Mateo and SantaMore Clara counties.  FLY works with juvenile justice youth and those 'at-risk' of entering the system.

Incorporating cognitive and behavior therapy approach youth take a semester long law course and learn about the consequences of crime and how to make better behavior choices. They also develop assets and build skills in empathy, anger management and problem solving. Through these classes, FLY identifies youth who want and need additional support.

For one to two years, these youth work with a FLY mentor and a community of their peers to set and achieve personal goals. They create and execute service learning projects to develop the leadership skills they need to transform their lives. These teenagers also serve as FLY advisors, providing input on program design and improvement, interviewing and selecting volunteers and staff and giving feedback to system partners on how to increase their effectiveness in working with youth.
